13 DEMANDS is about honoring the 1969 legacy of Black students at Duke University who seized the Allen Building to demand justice and representation. Working under the direction of Dilsey Davis, I sifted through unscripted oral histories and archival footage to amplify voices that had long been unheard, editing them into a narrative of courage and systemic change. Our goal was to ensure these stories of heroism don't just record the past, but inspire modern dialogue and reflection. The result is a powerful bridge between generations.
